A pair of century-old pear trees recently burst into bloom at the Zhihua Temple in Beijing, drawing crowds of visitors to admire their snow-white blossoms. Towering over 10 meters tall, the pear trees spread their canopies like giant umbrellas to cover much of the courtyard.
